Data Connector API

As part of PT.WP2 the SCAPE project team will create the specification for the Data Connector API. The aim of the API is to integrate various SCAPE components with the repository. The Data Connector API will be provided by the repository for CRUD operations on digital objects as well as searching and querying the repository for semantic information.

The Data Connector API constitutes the interface beetween the repository and the execution environment. When in need of updating objects or polling information about digital objects from the repository the exeution environment can employ the Data Connector API endpoint to do these operations on the persisted data.

TCK

FIZ Karlsruhe is developing a TCK in order to give repository providers an easy tool to implement the Data Connector API themselves. This allows easier integration of other repository products into SCAPE platofrms.
