h2. Format issues

{color:#333333}Apple discontinued the support of Windows QuickTime Player in the year 2016. Windows Media Player thus only supports file format versions 2.0, or earlier, of QuickTime Movie files. Whereas older QuickTime Files can be played with{color} {color:#333333}Windows Media Player, the newer files do not open on{color} {color:#333333}Windows Media Player. An inexperienced Windows user may be unable to view such a file, since{color} {color:#333333}Windows Media Player is the standard player on Windows 10 computers. These files still play on VLC, which is freely available for Windows. Nevertheless,{color} {color:#333333}QuickTime Movie files with file{color} {color:#333333}format versions 2.0, or earlier, may thus be considered for migration to other formats.{color}
