Detailed description

Famous fully integrated Apple iMac which was popular by the end of 1990ies and one of the first computers offering USB connection.

The iMac originally got shipped with a Mac OS 8.5.

Booting the machine with a small Linux system from CD (USB booting is not possible with that machine) and dump the main partition to a plugged in USB stick or over the network.
The resulting file then could be directly loaded into the SheepShaver Mac PowerPC emulator.
