GitHub

All project source code MUST be stored in the publicly available Open Planets Foundation's GitHub repository to provide a central repository of code and to ensure its sustainability beyond the project. That said, the initial SCAPE repository has become large and unwieldy, and could benefit from restructuring, most likely into core and other components.

This page describes any necessary uses or guidelines for using Git/GitHub, along with details about the suggested restructuring of SCAPE repositories.

Project Structure

Description here, when we've restructured..

Current Structure

Initial observations are the Scout and Plato repositories are about right, but we really need address the structure of the scape project. It's currently a horrible mish mash of dead prototypes, other prototypes, and a lot of current code. There's not real structure and it's generally unpleasant to work with.
