Successor to JHOVE.
JHOVE2 is open source software for format-aware characterization of digital objects. JHOVE2 analyzes digital objects with these questions:
- What is it? (Identification)
- What about it? (Feature extraction)
- What is it, really? (Validation)
- So what? (Assessment)
