_Tools Problem: While there are tons to tools available, none are so incredibly easy to install that a normal user can answer this question themselves._ \\
_Aim: Design a wrapper to a number of well managed tools which can be installed and run in one click\!_ \\
_Solution: The opffs tool wraps 'file' and 'exiftool' to analyse files. opffs generates reports in csv which can be imported into excel. It has been packaged as a debian package allowing one click install. 'file' and 'exiftool' are dependancies which opffs requires, it DOES NOT package them, this way third party packages can remain up to date via their own package management._ |
